 - Paves the way for company growth through primarily inside sales via cold and warm calling new customers, establishing mutually beneficial relationships, growing your portfolio of customers in your unique way
 - Ensure the company’s customer acquisition and revenue growth targets are achieved or exceeded via individual contributions
 - Achieve growth and hit individual sales targets through cold calling, networking and social media
 - Be a thought leader for the operations team to the benefit of your book of business
 - Enter and track customer and prospect data in CRM system to create actionable sales plans
 - Together with the sales manager, prepare and deliver appropriate presentations, provide valuable input on bid strategies and see RFP’s through to completion.
 
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
 - Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
 - Achieve or exceed customer operations KPI’s
 - Gather feedback from customers and/or prospects and share with internal teams
 - Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them, understanding their needs and working with the sales manager and operations teams to design solutions around them
 - Present sales reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
 - Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
 
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 2-4 years of applicable sales experience in the transportation industry OR
 - 3-5 years of applicable, progressive sales experience in an inside sales role, customer or public facing business to business sales process
 - Experience with a start up of any nature is helpful
 - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, negotiate and serve others
 
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with proven sales track record
 - Proficient in MS Office, TMS and CRM systems
